DAY 1 - ARRIVAL
On arrival at Kotoka International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, overnight in Accra
DAY 2 - ACCRA CITY TOUR
Leave for Accra City Tour, driving through the principal street of Accra to the National Museum where artifacts of pre-historic and relics of chieftaincy are displayed. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park at the former polo grounds where the independence of Ghana was declared in 1957 for a guided tour. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure for shopping at the Art and Craft Bazaar and other Art Galleries. Return to your hotel via the Independence Square where major anniversaries are held. Overnight in Accra
DAY 3 - EDUCATIONAL TOURS IN ACCRA
This morning you will visit the Achimota School and its surroundings. Continue to the industrial and harbor city of Tema. The day will be spent at the Tema beach for relaxation. You will have the opportunity to see the Greenwich Meridian Rock, which indicate the line where the Greenwich Meridian Passes in Ghana, return to your hotel. Overnight in Accra
DAY 4 - ACCRA – KUMASI
You will depart from the hotel on a full day scenic drive to Kumasi. Stop over at Ejisu Juaben to visit the traditional Shrine. Overnight in Kumasi
DAY 5 - KUMASI CITY TOUR
Depart on a tour of the Manhyia Palace Museum which is on the premises of the Asante Hene’s (King of Ashanti) Palace, the Cultural Centre and the Prempeh II Museum. Return to your hotel
DAY 6 - KUMASI CRAFT VILLAGE
Today we will visit the craft villages of Ahwiaa, Ntonso and Bonwire, noted for their Wood Carving, Fertility Dolls, Adinkra and Kente cloths respectively. Return to Kumasi for overnight
DAY 7 - KUMASI – MOLE
Depart early morning to Mole National Park and the Mole Motel for a stay of two (2) nights.
DAY 8 - MOLE
Morning and afternoon game viewing at Mole National Park. Return to the Hotel.
DAY 9 - MOLE – BOLGA
Depart Mole for Bolga arrive and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Bolga
DAY 10 - BOLGA – PAGA
After breakfast we will leave Bolga for Paga Crocodile Pond to view several crocodiles, where you will have the opportunity to sit on and take memorable pictures and also learn how this crocodiles relate to the people. Tour the surrounding villages and interact with the local people.
DAY 11 - BOLGA – WA
Depart hotel for Wa via the Bolga basket Market, arrive and check into your hotel for overnight.
DAY 12 - WA – GOWLU
Leave hotel for Gowlu to see the ancient leave town and wall built to defend the village against leave raiders and also the home of the third president of Ghana.
DAY 13 - WA – KUMASI
Depart Wa to Kumasi making some photo stops on the way. Arrive and check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kumasi
DAY 14 - KUMASI – CAPE COAST
Drive to Cape Coast via Lake Bosomtwi where you will observe fishermen using planks instead of canoe on the lake. Continue to Cape Coast and use the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Elmina
DAY 15 - ELMINA
Today will be at leisure at Brenu beach. Overnight in Elmina
DAY 16 - KAKUM PARK
Your tour today will take you to the Kakum National Park for a walk on the “Canopy Walkway”. This I a suspended foot bridge on top of trees. You will also enjoy hiking in this tropical forest to learn about some of the endangered plant species and their medical uses. Continue to the Ostrich farm for a guided tour. Overnight in Elmina
DAY 17 - CAPE COAST CASTLE TOUR
Proceed to the Cape-Coast Castle which was expanded by the English after changing hands from various Europeans and seat of British administration until 1877 for a guided tour. Continue with a walking tour of Cape Coast Township and Fort Williams. Overnight
DAY 18 - CAPE COAST – TAKORADI
Depart Cape Coast for Takoradi through coconut and sugar cane plantations. Arrive and check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at the beach.
DAY 19 - TAKORADI – NZULEZU
Leave Takoradi to Nzulezu the village on stilts where the villagers live on water to see their social organization. Return to Takoradi late evening for overnight.
DAY 20 - TAKORADI – NKROFUL
Depart hotel for Nkroful the birth place of the first president of Ghana. First the original burial place and the river which he used to play and also hear the story of this river when Kwame Nkrumah revived at it when it dried up and other stories of the founder of Ghana. Spend the rest of the day at Axim beach. Overnight in Takoradi
DAY 21 - TAKORADI – ACCRA
Leave Takoradi for Accra and arrive to check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 22 - LEISURE
Day at leisure for relaxation and personal activities
DAY 23 - ACCRA – AKOSOMBO
Depart for Akosombo via Aburi Botanical Gardens for leisure walk in this century old park. You will also visit the Presidential Lawn. Continue to Akosombo. Arrive and overnight
DAY 24 - VOLTA LAKE CRUISE
Today you will board the MV Dodi Princess for a leisure cruise on the Volta Lake. Overnight
DAY 25 - AKOSOMBO – TAFI MONKEY SANCTUARY
Early morning departure to the Tafi Monkey Sanctuary, return to Akosombo. Rest of the day at leisure
DAY26 - AKOSOMBO – ADA
Departure from Akosombo via the Shai Hill games reserve for game viewing, continue to Ada. Overnight
DAY 27 - ADA
Spend the day at Volta estuary and a walking tour of the surrounding villages.
DAY 28 - SOGAKOPE
Spend the day for relaxation at the Holy Trinity and the Spa riverside. Night of story telling under the moon light. Overnight.
DAY 29 - SOGAKOPE – ACCRA
Spend the morning for private activities. Late afternoon return to Accra late evening
